    Effortless Axis Bank Credit Card Bill Payment: A Comprehensive Guide

Here’s everything you should know to make timely bill payments for the Axis Bank credit card and enjoy its services.

    Reasons to Make Credit Card Bill Payments on Time

    Mentioned are the reasons for the credit card bill payments to be done on time:

    • To avoid the interest charges accruing on the subsequent statement.
    • To avoid the accumulated interest charges and fees.
    • The credit history becomes positive, and the score becomes high.
    •  To avoid the high interest rates, charges and penalties.
    • As the credit limit on the credit card is high, making payments on time allows you to make further transactions as and when required.

    Different Ways to Make Credit Card Bill Payments

    Mentioned are the different ways of making the Axis Bank Credit Card Bill Payment:

    1. Online Methods:
    • Through Internet Banking

    Step 1: Using your internet banking ID and password, log in to your Axis Bank account. 

    Step 2: Under the option “Credit Cards”, go to the tab “Pay Bill”. 

    Step 3: Provide the credit card number along with the amount to be debited, and then click “Submit’.

    Step 4: The amount gets debited, and simultaneously, the bank account gets credited on an instant basis.

    Through Mobile Banking

    Step 1: Log in to any mobile banking app.

    Step 2: Under the section “Accounts”, choose the credit card number against which the payment is to be made.

    Step 3: Click on “Pay now” and choose the bank account from which the payment has to be made,

    Step 4: Enter the payment amount and then click “Proceed”.

    Through NEFT using IFSC Code

    Step 1: Log in to the Axis account using your User ID and password.

    Step 2: Under the option “Fund Transfers”, select “NEFT”.

    Step 3: From the list of beneficiaries, choose the card against which payment has to be made.

    Step 4: Enter the payment amount, review the same and click “Proceed”.

    Through UPI

    Step 1: Launch any of the UPI apps on your mobile device.

    Step 2: Create a user ID and choose the account number to be linked.

    Step 3: Go to the tab “Pay” and then “Send Money”.

    Step 4: Click “Confirm” to pay.

    Through Paytm

    Step 1: Visit the Paytm credit card bill payment link.

    Step 2: Under the option “Credit Card Bill Payment”, provide your credit card number.

    Step 3: Click “Proceed”.

    Step 4: Choose either “BHIM UPI” or “Internet Banking” as the desired mode of payment.

    Step 5: Click “Pay Now”.

    Step 6: Provide the payment details and complete the payment.

    Through PhonePe

    Step 1: Open “PhonePe app”.

    Step 2: Under “Recharge & Pay Bills”, choose the option “Credit Card Bill”.

    Step 3: The credit card number should then be provided, and click “Confirm”.

    Step 4: Follow further steps to complete the payment.

    Through Mobikwik

    Step 1: Open the MobikWik UPI app.

    Step 2: Provide your credit card number and the desired amount to be paid.

    Step 3: Click “Go”.

    Step 4: Follow further steps to complete the payment.

    Through IMPS

    Step 1: Log in to your mobile or net banking account.

    Step 2: Click on the “Funds Transfer” option.

    Step 3: Further, choose “IMPS” from the options available.

    Step 4: Add the credit card number for which the payment is to be made as a beneficiary. 

    Step 5: Proceed to complete the payment.

    Through BillDesk

    Step 1: Open the BillDesk portal, which is available on Axis Bank’s official website. 

    Step 2: Enter the credit card details.

    Step 3: Click on “Pay Now”.

    Step 4: Enter your net banking details to complete the credit card bill payment.

    1. Offline Methods:

    Through SMS

    Step 1: Send an SMS <Last six digits of your savings or current bank account> <space> <Last four digits of your credit card number> and then send it to 5676782 from the mobile number registered with the bank.

    Step 2: The maximum limit for this facility is INR 5000.

    Through Cheque/ Draft

    Step 1: A cheque/ draft may be drawn in favour of “Axis Bank Credit Card Number” and can be dropped at any of the Axis Bank branches.

    Step 2: The cheque should not be a post-dated cheque.

    Step 3: It should be dropped 5 days before the due date.

    Step 4: The Axis Bank cheque takes 1 day to get cleared.

    Step 5: The cheques from other banks take 3-5 days to get cleared.

    Through Auto-Debit

    Step 1: You can use this facility to pay off either the minimum amount due or the total amount due from your current account or savings account.

    Step 2: Fill out the auto-debit form and send it to Axis Bank’s postal address to get registered for this facility.

    Step 3: The payment gets completed within the same day.

    • Through Cash

    Step 1: Visit any branch nearest to Axis Bank.

    Step 2: The payment gets cleared on an instant basis, i.e. on the same day.

    • Through ATM

    Step 1: Visit any nearest Axis Bank ATM.

    Step 2: Using your debit card, pay the minimum amount due or the total amount due.

    Step 3: The amount will be debited from the bank account linked to the Axis Bank ATM card.

    Step 4: The payment gets cleared the very same day.

    • Through NEFT

    Step 1: Visit any nearest branch and use NEFT details to make credit card bill payments.

    1. How do you make an Axis Bank Credit Card Bill Payment in the case of non-Axis Bank account holders? 
    • Through NEFT:

    Step 1: Open the Internet banking of a Non-Axis Bank account and then click “NEFT”.

    Step 2: Provide the beneficiary’s details, such as the bank’s name, branch name, and credit card number, along with the IFSC code.

    • Through RTGS:

    Step 1: Using your login credentials, log in to Internet banking. 

    Step 2: Under the tab “Funds Transfer”, select “RTGS”. 

    Step 3: From the list of beneficiaries, select the credit card against which the bill is to be paid.

    Step 4: The details should then be verified along with the payment confirmation.
